Awards and Honours

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has been awarded for ‘Excellence in Creative and Performing Arts’ by Honorable Minister of Road Transport and Highways Shri. Nitin Gadkari on the 6th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards during 15th FICCI Global Higher Education Summit held from 27th to 29th November 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, won the coveted Nadia Murad Excellency Award for skill building and women empowerment during World Congress on Women 2019 by Bio Genesis Health Cluster and was honoured by Her Excellency, Dr. Kiran Bedi, Lt. Governor of Puduchery in the presence of other empowered women i.e. Maharani of Mysore Her highness Pramoda Devi; Ms. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson, Biocon and Ms. Rashmi Krishnan, IAS, Secretary (SWCD) Govt. of India.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, honoured with “Iron Lady” award by Indo-Nepal Samrasta Organisation for her contribution in Education, Swachta, Innovative work in society and for taking initiatives for Women Empowerment on October 31st, 2019 at Krishna Menon Bhawan, New Delhi. She received the recognition from Govt. of Nepal in form of Nepali National Cap, Appreciation letter, Medal and a Shawl.

Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen received the prestigious “'FICCI Higher Education Excellence Award,”from Mr. R Subhramanayam, Secretary-Higher Education, Govt. of India, the award aims to celebrate and honor educational institutes for their initiatives that have changed the course of Higher Education in India.

Hon'ble President Dr.Punam Suri and revered Mrs. Mani Suri, the first lady of DAV's bestowing blessings on Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen for the phenomenal growth of the institution in the field of Skill Development, Community Programmes and Social Outreach activities.

The institution was honoured with ASSOCHAM Education Excellence Award for its excellent contribution in fostering affordable quality education and taking initiatives for social responsibility. The event was presided over by Hon’ble Former President of India, Sh. Pranab Mukherjee and the honour was bestowed by Sh. Suresh Prabhu, then Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industries and Civil Aviation on February 21st, 2019.

Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen received the honour from Sports Minister of Punjab, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi for the excellent and energetic contributions of the institution to the flagship scheme of the government “Tandaurst Punjab Mission”, at 72nd Independence Day celebrations.
